- provide information about setting upand training Consultative Committees
- assist in drafting the agreement
- ensure that the Agreement is registered in the Industrial Relations Commission
WORKERS COMPENSATION:
Each Branch provides its members with legal advice through the Union's solicitor in relation to Workers Compensation matters.
TERMINATION:
The Union will offer assistance in relation to:
- redundancy
- termination
- unfair dismissals
TRAINING:
Training is an important issue in the Meat Industry.
The Union arranges training for:
- job delegates
- consultative committees
- occupational health & safety
